Graphic Design, Illustration and Photography workshops in Ithaca. 13–17 July 2015
Ten Images for Ithaca invite you once again this summer to take a creative break by the sea. Join the design, illustration and photography workshops in one of the most beautiful Greek islands. Portuguese multidisciplinary studio R2 (European Agency of the Year 2014), Greek design agency Busybuilding (awarded with Best of the Best - Red Dot 2014), London based illustrator and RCA graduate Rose Blake, and Greek photojournalist and street photographer Spyros Staveris are this year's workshop leaders.

Ten Images offer a week of inspiring workshops, creative exploration and networking with professionals and young creatives. During the workshops, you'll have the chance to work with established and award winning visual communicators and learn from their experience. You'll also be part of a community of young creatives from around the world who will gather in Ithaca, not only to learn and exchange ideas about design, photography and illustration, but also to make new friends and build network.
The workshops will be held in English.
On the first day of the workshops, there will be a draw in order to divide the Design/Illustration participants, into different groups.
Each workshop can host up to 15 participants.
Early Bird: 70 Euros
Standard: 100 Euros
With the support of the Municipality of Ithaca and the BA Graphic Design program at Deree - The American College of Greece.
The workshop fees do not include accommodation. The participants should arrange for their accommodation. Hotel Mentor offers a discount rate, especially for the participants of Ten Images for Ithaca and their accompanying friends.
Mentor is situated in Vathy, the port of Ithaca and it is in a walking distance from where the workshops will be held.

Traveling to Ithaca
Ithaca is situated in the west part of Greece, next to the island of Kefalonia. If you fly to Athens, you can then take a connecting flight to Kefalonia (Olympic Air, Aegean Air) or take a bus (KTEL) or Kyllini (4 hours) and then the boat to Ithaca (3,5 hours).
Alternatively, you can fly directly to Kefalonia and then take to boat to Ithaca (30 mins). Norwegian, Ryanair, Thomas Cook, Easyjet, Thomson and Monarch are some of the air companies that fly directly to Kefalonia from the UK. There are also direct flights from with other European cities (Milan, Pisa, Amsterdam, Oslo, Vienna, Moscow, etc). You can also fly to Zante and then take the ferry to Ithaca.
